The Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI, President Sangkyu Rhee) held the first session of the "KISDI-Dongseong High School Education Program" on April 16 for students from Dongseong High School, located in Chungbuk Innovation City.

The program was organized as a participatory educational course designed to foster problem-solving skills and policy-oriented thinking required in the era of AI and digital transformation. The program is scheduled to consist of a total of ten sessions, including special lectures, discussions, and project-based activities.

During the first session, participants were introduced to KISDI and its areas of research. This was followed by a special lecture delivered by Hyun Kyong LEE of KISDI's Artificial Intelligence Policy Research Division on the theme of "AI Ethics in the Age of Homo Prompt."

Students also toured KISDI's facilities and experienced the research environment firsthand, which provided an opportunity to deepen their understanding of AI and ICT policy research.

Through this program, KISDI plans to continue supporting students in enhancing their understanding of AI and digital technologies and policies, while providing opportunities for them to explore future career paths.
