Team Leader Oh Mu-suk of the Promotion Material Team was elected chairman of the Asia Chapter of the Special Libraries Association. He will assume the post in 2018 and serve as chairman for three years.

Team Leader Oh has been serving as the chairman of the Korea Special Libraries Association (KSLA) since 2015. Together with the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information and the National Assembly Library, he successfully hosted the International Conference of Asian Special Libraries in 2015.

The SLA is a non-profit organization that was established in the United States in 1909 for libraries and librarians affiliated with academic and government organizations, corporations, and museums around the world. It currently has 9,000 members in over 75 countries.
