Senior Research Fellow Ko Sang-won of the Department of International Cooperation Research of the Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI, President Kim Dae-hee) received a presidential citation for his contributions to the development of information communication.
Executive Director Ko Sang-won received a presidential citation for his contributions to ICT advancements and national industrial development at the 2020 Science & Information and Communication Day Ceremony held at the KOFST’s Science and Technology Center. The ceremony was held to commemorate the 53rd Science Day (April 21) and the 65th Information and Communication Day (April 22).
Executive Director Ko Sang-won received a PhD in Economics from Cornell University and is currently working as the head of the Department of International Cooperation Research at KISDI. His research interests include 'Asia in the Global ICT Innovation Network: Dancing with the Tigers,' 'Modularization of Korea's Development Experience: ICT Human Resource Development Policy,' and 'Modularization of Korea's Development Experience: ICT R&D System and Policy.'
