Objectives
The Future Internet, i.e., the Network of the Future, which provides functionalities well beyond the current Internet limitations is a global hot topic in the field of network as well as distributed systems research. The workshop aims to provide an open global forum where forefront information and knowledge on this timely subject will be reviewed and debated. A better insight into the R&D direction of the Future Internet is expected to be gained as a result of presentations and discussions among the local as well as world-renowned experts.
The workshop will consist of a keynote speech and a number of technical sessions. Session talks will be organized by session chairs by invitation as well as through proposal submissions. Prospective speakers are encouraged to submit proposals for a full-scale talk of 30 minutes as well as for a short talk of 10 minutes introducing their research ideas.
Topics of interest may include, but not limited to, architectural, service, optical, wireless, security, testbed, and policy aspects of the Future Internet.
