The Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI) held the “2018 Second KSIDI Colloquium at the Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of the KISDI headquarters on March 26.
The KISDI Colloquium shared the experiences of KISDI members who participated in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, USA and Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain and discussed the key global trends and implications.
Lee Hag-gi and Kang Jun-mo shared the technology trend and applications for the smart city at CES 2018. Their introduction of the smart car showed the convergence and advancement of cutting-edge technologies of global leading companies.
Yeo Jae-hyeon, Director of Telecommunications & Spectrum Research, participated in MWC 2018 and shared 5G, virtual reality, cloud, and IOT centered on “Future Services Provider” and “The Network” and discussed the domestic ICT policy issues in relation to global trends.
KISDI plans to hold colloquiums continuously to respond preemptively to ICT issues and develop policies for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
